On February 26th, 2024 (yes, Vinnie knows the exact date), Vinnie watched Nikki walk into Set Em Up to grab a quick dinner at the bar. As she sat there with the most unapproachable look on her face he thought, "I want that one". Vinnie was wise not to approach as Nikki was more than likely hangry and tired(since then he has learned to approach with caution at these times). Instead he reached out to a neighbor and one of Nikki's closest friends, Aimee in the following weeks to see if she was "available" . Aimee took her sweet time knowing the timing wasn't quite right. Vinnie eventually began to think he was out of luck when several weeks later Aimee informed him that Nikki was interested and shortly after he received a Facebook friend request from Nikki(I mean you can't do a proper investigation without having access to all the social media, right?). April 14th, they connected on Facebook, April 17th Vinnie asked Nikki on their first date, and on April 20th they went to Culinary Misfits where the waitress had to deal with their indecisiveness for several hours.

Fast forward to April 18th, 2025... They've just remodeled Vinnie's bathroom, finishing up renovating Nikki's house, and were preparing to list it in a couple of weeks. Vinnie had made plans to go to Culinary Misfits since their one year fell on Easter. Nikki told him they could go only if they got some work on the house before(someone's gotaa make sure things get done!). As they are getting ready to leave, Vinnie of course had to go change his glasses(little did she know he was also grabbing a ring). As they were walking out the door and down the side steps, Vinnie started messing with his boot and Nikki was now hangry muttering something along the lines of "I'm hungry, can we get moving already?" Vinnie then pulled out the ring and eventually asked Nikki to marry him. And here they are planning a wedding for 7 months later, while moving and selling a house.
